Nick commented:

The photo was shot on my Sony A6000 with a 50mm F1.8 lens, Yongnuo yn560 flash gun and trigger. Port processing was using Adobe Lightroom.

I took up photography in March and have been working hard at it since, primarily shooting models and to narrow it down further, mostly portraits. I have been lucky enough to be published in several magazines in that time (I got lucky lol). This is my first competition win and I am very happy to have won it, taking the picture although somewhat frustrating. Particularly focus in low light against a mirror was also rewarding and allowed me to look at some things for the future I may not have otherwise considered particularly using mirrors.
